Microsoft Outlook 2007 Verbindung getrennt von Exchange Server 2008

Outlook 2007 konnte sich mit dem Exchange Server nicht verbinden. Als Status zeigte Outlook “getrennt”. Nach einem Neustart des “Informationsspeicher” Dienstes konnte sich Outlook wie gewohnt verbinden.

.eml Dateien mit Outlook 2007 unter Windows 7 öffnen

Folgender Sachverhalt:
Auf einem PC mit Windows 7 – 64 Bit sollen .eml Dateien mit Outlook geöffnet werden.

Vorgehensweise:

1. Rechte Maustaste auf die gespeicherte .eml-Datei und unter “Öffnen mit” als Standardprogramm Outlook.exe auswählen. (z.B. unter Pfad: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\OUTLOOK.EXE”)

2. Als nächtes suche in der Registry folgenden Key: “HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\eml_auto_file\shell\open\command” und öffne Ihn mit rechter Maustaste – ändern und ersetze den vorhandenen Eintrag mit
“%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office12\OUTLOOK.EXE” /eml “%1″
Mit OK bestätigen und den Regeditor schliessen.

3. Es kann vorkommen, dass nun einige Benutzer .eml Dateien öffnen können und bei anderen z.B. Outlook eine neue E-Mail mit der .eml Datei als Anhang erstellt. Dann solltest Du bei dem entsprechenden Nutzer folgendes tun. Melde Dich als der betreffende Benutzer an und suche folgenden Registry Key:
“HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft \Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.eml”
Sollte sich hier nun ein Key mit der Bezeichnung “UsersChoice” befinden, dann entferne diesen indem Du rechte Maustaste – löschen betätigst.

Das war es dann auch schon.

Sollte es trotzdem nicht klappen, solltest Du nachsehen, ob Du alle aktuellen Updates (Office und Windows) installiert hast.Bis jetzt hat es so immer geklappt.

Outlook 2007 Signaturen – bei Kontowechsel keine Signatur

Folgender Sachverhalt:

Benutzer hat mehrere E-Mail Konten. Möchte er nun nachdem er eine neue E-Mail beginnt das Konto wechseln erscheint keine Signatur.

Lösung:

Dem Standard E-Mail Konto muss eine Signatur zugewiesen sein, damit bei einem Kontenwechsel die dem ausgewählten Konto zugewiesene Signatur automatisch eingefügt werden kann.

Ich gehe hier davon aus das die Probleme mit .html Signaturen unter Outlook 2007 bekannt sind.

Outlook und allgemein Office ADDIns, Toolbars entfernen

Nach installation von diverser Software werden AddIns in Form von Toolbars in MS Office Produkten ( Word, Excel, Outlook usw) angelegt.

Wenn man diese nicht benutzen möchte kann man über Rechtsklick die Toolbars abwählen.
Sind sie beim nächsten Start des Programms wieder da und unter Optionen nicht als Add-Ins aufgelistet so kann man in der Registry unter “HKLM\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Office\ [Excel]\ Addins” diese entweder für immer entfernen oder mit der Einstellung “LoadBehaviour=0″ bei Programmaufruf nicht mitstarten lassen.

Für [Excel] sucht man sich das Programm aus, welches die ungeliebten AddIns in der Menüleiste hat.

Outlook / Exchange: defekte, versteckte Regeln aus einem Postfach entfernen / löschen.

In einem Exchange Postfach sind die zuvor angelegten Regeln mehrfach vorhanden und nicht mehr funktionsfähig gewesen, konnten nicht mehr entfernt werden. Gemäß folgender MS-Anleitung konnten die Regeln entfernt und neu angelegt werden (Englisch – KB924297):

Wichtig: Cache-Modus im Outlook deaktivieren, Outlook muss mit dem Exchange-Server verbunden sein.

Das MFCMapi Tool gibt es hier.

Hier nun die Anleitung:

Use MFCMapi to remove all rules that are applied to the mailbox. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Download MFCMapi to a folder on your computer.
2. Open the folder to which you downloaded the MfcMapi.exe file, and then double-click MfcMapi.exe.
3. In the Choose Directory for Extracted Files box, type the path of the folder in which you want to save MFCMapi, and then click OK. For example, save MFCMapi in a folder that is named C:\MFCMapi.

a. Open the folder to which you extracted MFCMapi, double-click mfcmapi, and then click OK.
b. On the Session menu, click Logon and Display Store Table.
c. If you are prompted to select a profile, click the profile name in the Profile Name list, and then click OK.
d. Double-click the mailbox that contains the inbox rules that you want to delete.
e. Expand Root Container, and then expand Top of information Store.

Note Outlook should be in Online mode to use MFCMAPI. If you see IPM Subtree instead of Top of information Store, Outlook Cache mode is enabled. Disable Outlook Cache mode before you use MFCMapi.
f. Right-click Inbox, and then click Open Associated Contents Table.

The Open Associated Contents Table contains the hidden messages of the Inbox.
g. In the Microsoft Exchange server MAPI Editor window, locate and click the items that have the IPM.Rule.Message message class, and then click Delete.
h. Click to clear the Delete to Deleted Items check box, and then click OK.
i. Click to select the Pass Delete_Hard_Delete check box, and then click OK.
6. Import the backed-up rules into Outlook. To do this, follow these steps:
a. On the Tools menu, click Rules and Alerts.
b. In the Rules and Alerts dialog box, click Options.
c. In the Options dialog box, click Import Rules.
d. Locate the rules that you copied in step 4, click Open, and then click OK.
